Bahrain Development Bank announces rent waiver for its Business Incubators for 3 months

In line the financial and economic stimulus package launched by his Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for the affected sectors by the pandemic, and the commands of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the kingdom to follow the directions, Bahrain Development Bank announced a special aid for the business owners in all the business incubators that are affiliated to the bank including Bahrain Business Incubator Centre, Women Development Centre “Riyadat” and the Farmers Market in Hoorat A’ali by waving the rents for the clients who meet the conditions and criteria of the waivers for three months (June, July, August 2021).

Commenting on this decision, H.E. Khalid Al-Rumaihi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Development Bank Group said “These rent waivers for the incubation centers that are affiliated to BDB group come as a response to the royal directions which the esteemed government have already started working on to support the sectors that are affected by the pandemic and to help them overcome the financial challenges and the economic effects that resulted from the pandemic and also to help maintain a healthy level of economic growth in the kingdom”.

Al-Rumaihi added “The wavier also represents the bank’s quick response to the current circumstances that the whole world in going through, and to our costumers’ needs and best interest, which portray the importance to of the cooperation and collective work to face this pandemic and limit its negative affect on the various sectors. And that is a huge national responsibility”.
