Agricultural loans are offered by Bahrain Development Bank with 0% interest rate to be used for development of agriculture production in Bahrain.

The maximum facility amount is BHD 15,000

Who can apply:

• The applicant should be a Bahraini
• The Applicant should own or lease an agricultural land.
• The purpose of the facility should be for development of agricultural production and not other irrelevant activities like constructing a swimming pool etc.

Required documents: (Upon review of the documents, further documents might be required)

• Application form
• Benefit form
• Copy of Smart Card & details
• Assignment/ Undertaking for salary transfer, where applicable.
• Land Lease Agreement and copy of Land Title Deed.
• Quotation for the purchase required.
• Bank statements for six months.

In case of applications backed by guarantors:

• Application form
• Benefit form
• Copy of Smart Card & details
• Copy of Passport
• Bank Account statements for the last six months of the guarantors
• Salary certificate and/or financial statements.
