Job Title: External Stakeholders Specialist

Job Purpose

  • The role holder is responsible to maintain a strong collaboration and act as the main focal point of contact with all external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintains credit control policies and guidelines to ensure compliance with all applicable rules and regulations.
  • Laise with external stakeholders to improve / introduce new customer friend products.
  • Prepare the summary of proposals / restructure forms / charge offs prior to sharing and obtaining necessary approvals from external stakeholders.
  • Ensure that the required dashboards / report are shared with external stakeholders within the agreed frequency.
  • Review and analyse external stakeholders principals report on monthly basis.
  • Ensure all inputted guarantees in system to accurate and up to date.
  • Ensure all profit claims are raised on monthly basis with external stakeholders
  • Ensure guarantee claims are executed in line with the agreements signed by external stakeholders.
  • Ensure frequent calls / visits are conducted with external stakeholders to build a strong relationship.
  • Ensure the required invoices are all processed for all external stakeholders.
  • Prepare & Reconcile the Bank’s loan portfolio on the benefit system and ensure all terms and conditions in the executed agreement is fulfilled.
  • Provide guidance to all internal stakeholders of the Bank on fulfilling the required clauses of the executed agreements.
  • Monitors all parties’ compliance with loan pre-loan disbursal conditions and other loan covenants throughout the tenor of the loan.
  • Assists in and ensures periodic collateral valuation and verification and updates the Head - Credit Control & Administration on any current and forecasted major changes in the value.
  • To ensure any executed agreement maintain the required sign off from Legal Dept.
  • Prepare timely and accurate preparation of reports by the department including’ CBB reports, customer credit reports, management information reports and any other requirement of statutory auditors.
  • Keeps records of and highlights to the Team Leader / Head of Depts in respect of all credit related exceptions and special cases.
  • Prepare audit confirmations balances.
  • Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Unit / Department Head from time to time.

Qualification Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or any other related field is mandatory

Years of experience

  • 3 years of experience.

Job Specific Skills:

  • Good knowledge of the banks policies and procedures
  • Good knowledge of credit administration, loan documentation, syndicated loan structures, as well as credit and banking terminology
  • Good knowledge of BDB’s products and services
  • Working knowledge of different systems, theories and practices relevant to the function.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
