Bahrain Institute of Technology (BIT), a subsidiary of Bahrain Development Bank (BDB), has successfully completed its training for last batch of 11 students on IT Technical Programme for Entrepreneurs. Two batches of 21 candidates have received similar training in the past.

The self-employment program was sponsored by BDB and covered the tools of developing websites, basics of networking and project management. The 80-hour training was to prepare them to use the gained knowledge and skills from this program for a better entrepreneurship opportunity.

BIT has always been focusing on similar industry-required IT skills and shortly will be announcing other sponsorship program for the benefit of unemployed youths too.
